You
need only a few clicks to invite relatives and trusted
friends into your enclave. The following table shows
those steps as well as the steps taken by the invited
individual(s). This assumes you have already installed
the Nclaves client application on your computer and
have created your own enclave.

Click
on the "MyEnclave->Invite New Member"

A
Send Invitation dialog comes up.
Fill
in the invited person's name, email address and
a personal invitation message.
Click
Send. The invited person(s) will get a regular
email message, as if it is sent by you. It will
contain the personal invitation message you have
entered as well as a "Download" link
to install the Nclaves client application.
(If
you wish, pre-inform
the invited person(s) that such an email is forthcoming
so that they don't delete it accidentally).
You
can invite multiple individuals at the same time.

The
invited person(s) (Natasha, in this example)
get a regular email. It contains the personal
invitation message you entered as well as a "Download"
link to install Nclaves client application on
her computer.
A
temporary User Id and Password is also included
in that email message.
She
clicks on the "Download" link.

|
The
link will take her to the Nclaves web site.
|
|
|
She
downloads and installs the Nclaves client application
on her PC
Her
browser will show a dialog "Do you want to
run or save this file". Click Run.
(Different
browsers may show this dialog differently)

|
|
Nclaves
application files are copied to her computer. Depending
on her network access speed, it may take 3 to 4
minutes to copy the Nclaves application files. (assumes
broadband network access) |

A
license text is shown. She reads it then clicks
OK. |
|
|
The
directory path where Nclaves files will be stored
is shown. Press OK to accept the default directory
path
She
may change the default install path if she wishes.

|
|
After
successful installation, she will see a desktop
icon for Nclaves application. Double-click on it
to launch the Nclaves application (Just the same
way as any other application is launched on a PC) |

The
first time she launches the application, she clicks
on the "Join Nclave" button. It will
open a wizard.

|
She
enters the Enclave name, Invitation Id and Temporary
password provided in the invitation email message. |
|
|
The
wizard verifies the invitation information on
the Nclaves server.

After
she successfully joins the enclave, she will see
the same login panel again. She enters the enclave
name, member id and password she provided to the
wizard (above) and presses the Login button. |

You
can also ask her to
view a short movie (3 minutes) that shows the
end-user application in action. |
Pre-inform
(if you wish to):
Some
of our customers have found it useful to pre-inform
their invitees that an Enclave invitation e-mail is
forthcoming. The following is a brief message you
could use to inform them about Nclaves before sending
the invitation -
